This is the first entry I received for ALEPH, THE VIDEO CONTEST
It is not participating, because is not doesn’t comply with one rule (max time 2 min 30 sec), but I believe this is a good demo of the general idea
Please note that in this video my name and “Aleph” appeared too early. The rules require that you first express your vision of this magical point, and then, only at the end, Aleph/Paulo Coelho appears.

I read here “It is not participating, because is not doesn’t comply with one rule (max time 2 min 30 sec)”, but in the main Aleph rules page the duration is from 1:30 to 3 minutes… is the maximum time 2 minutes and a half or three minutes?

Dear Paulo
Thought provoking one keeping much room for interpretation by the viewers, but our hopes about the book is so so great and dream etched & its so long awaited a book that nothing can surpass or satiate the surge of desire to read the book.The wait would thus end in September (Come September!) when it would publish in English .I am from Bangladesh & am very comfortable in English as its our 2nd language.
When i started reading u from 2005 (A norwegian boss of mine presented me By the river piedra i sat down and wept) the landscape of my life changed. Then on i read each books of yours and not once again and again. For strength, to rekindle faith, to search for signs…to believe in miracles, to rejuvinate search of personal legend, and what not!
Just a thought to ponder .. Bengali is the eight spoken rich language(Tagore the Nobel winning poet from Bengal) with 160 million readers in Bangladesh and another 100 million in India & its my humble suggestion that u may consider having your book translated in Bengali for general reader ).love and admiration for your work for what you are .. Somehow I never thought that Borge´s great short story would interest anybody outside the SciFi fan club. I am very happy you brought it into focus again. It is my favorite mind altering piece of literature.

I watched. I enjoyed it very much. Great ending. However, something was bothering me. I watched it again and again. It is the font, that was used at the beginning for ALEPH. Somehow it reminded me all and everything I have seen about nazi Germany. Gave me goose bumps. How about leaving everything the same, but slightly updating the font?

They always are. Books are always better, but sometimes it is good to see an interpretation of words, isn’t it?

Its really intresting like that Aleph video that is in my opinion something that woild talk to people simple and big i got many ideas how that would could even look better but i am still learning how to use 21 century technic lol
The first half of this video is very good, very clever use made of space and time. But then it is a pity it did not end there as runs out of ideas, the rest is meaningless random images.
