The video of Mohamed made my think of a story I’ve received from a friend long time ago.
– The Four Candles-
Four Candles slowly burne.
The ambience was so soft, one could almost hear them talking…
The first candle said: “Iam Peace!” “The World is full of anger and fighting Nobody can keep me lit.”
Then the flame of Peace went completely.
The second candle said: “I am Faith!” “I am no longer indispensable. It doesn’t make sense that I stay lit another moment.”
Just then a breeze softly blew Faith’s flame.
Sadly the third candle began to speak: “I am Love!” “People don’t understand my importance so they simply put me aside. They even forget to love those who are nearest to them.”
And waiting no longer Love’s flame went out.
Suddenly… a child entered the room and saw the three unlit candles.
“Why aren’t you burning? You’re supposed to stay lit till the end.”
Saying this, the child began to cry.
Then the fourth candle answered: “Don’t be afraid, I am Hope!” “While I am still burning we can re-light the other candles.”
With shining eyes the child took the candle of hope and lit the other candles.
The Greatest of These Is Love…
…but the flame of Hope should never go out of your life!
” Dear God, You are my light and salvation.
You are my hope. Please come into my heart,
forgive all my wrongs.
Help me be an instrument of Your Love and
cause Your Light to shine on others through me.
Amen.”

Why is Flavio’s video not in the contest? Was it something to do with submission criteria? I thought it was particularly good. I John Hoelen’s video is very nice. Peaceful, and full of love.
I think it’s because Flavio’s crue may be part of Paulo Coelho’s team. I guess they would win their own contest!
Flavio’s video was comissioned by a friend of mine, therefore it cannot participate in the contest.
You have been a great inspiration to be in difficult times Mr.Coelho. I can’t wait for the new book.
That explains a lot. I hope that more people submit, I would love to see the build-up to the novel.
I am just speechless… these are masterpieces, the first one is just like a little movie and the seconds simplicity is just priceless. You have a hard task in front of you, a challenge. Mr.Coelho, I do not know how many entries you recieved/receive but if it is at all possible could the ones that do not make it recieve a signed card from you yourself? I tried to email and ask for that but the email is being returned to me and marked as undeliverable.
