Six countries, six # 1 !

Dear mr Coelho

I have just finished Alef. And start re-read it again. It is cheap way to say it is excellent or great book. It is fully unordinary book. Something really NEW. Of course, you did not discover America, but I like your way you present yourself. You talk about your absoulutely hidden personality.

I must admit. I was disappointed by the way you treated Hilal in first moments of your meeting. You treated her as you were a vain U.S American movie-star. You have never seem to me as a cold and distanced man. I will say truly: I expected I will find more warmth in Paolo, but in accordance with this book, you are cold as much as Transsiberian route.

There is a very important thing that intrigues me to read this book again, and again: you, a famous and rich man, who is absolutely benefited in all aspects of life and who is an absolute favorite of God, you bravely dare to say that people of your position may be frustrated and empty ( it is a paragraph in your book, where you saying about yout perfectly, but empty life before you decided to travel across Russia ).

I do not say it is impossible, but it is very hard to trust in it.

Simply, I am sure that natural mechanism of rich and famous people does not allow them to be empty. I would rather say, you feel boring as the majority of rich and popular people provoking your faith for new challenges…
As a rich and intl. famous man you absolutely off the magnificent magic of money. For you, money is not crucial in life. According to you, you were happier when you were traveling around the world as a hippie, then now when you are one of the most popular people on the planet.

It sounds unconvincing. If you truly feel that, why then you did not travel in Hilal’s cheap travel carrige , but enjoyed all benefits of a luxury train carriages.

I ‘ d like to convince me otherwise, giving t me strong arguments.

Some segments of your life testifies my attitude. You said that each of us should follow its Personal Legend, but my dear Coelho, is it possible follow Legendes withou money or credit card in pockets?

You say that travelling is not questiion of money, but encouragement . But do you forget that you definitely decided to be writer in 1977, when you stop working as a director of discographoc house. It means that you have more than enough money in pocket and, it was very easy to be brave to travel.

Wasnt’it?

Also, I do not know any person with money that is not brave in decision to travel, but I know lot of people withou empty pocket that have a big wish, but cannot be brave to travel, because they cannot.

Maybe you will respond on my opinion, maybe you will not. But anyway. Thanks on this book ! After long time in era of Internet and I spent my time on printed book. Great trigger for thinkg about money and fortune .

By the way, that story about reincarnation….It seems to me as a fairy-tale. If it is valide, real, objective, and if you really discovered the essence of your relation with Hilal and other 4 women why then you did not ‘recommend’ game with ” light-rings” to people without “any strong reason….”. And what may be ” catastropophic”?

And how each of us can be sure that philosophy of reincarnation is not fake !
