EN ESPANOL AQUI > Cain y Abel
___________

Cain and Abel came to the banks of an enormous lake. They had never seen anything like it.
“There’s something inside it,” said Abel, looking into the water, not knowing that it was his reflection.
Cain noticed the same thing, and raised his staff. The image did the same thing. Cain stood waiting for the blow; his image did the same.
Abel studied the surface of the water. He smiled, and the image smiled. He laughed out loud, and saw the other imitating him.
As they walked away, Cain thought:
“How aggressive those creatures are who live in there.”
And Abel told himself:
“I’d like to return, for I met someone both handsome and in good humor.”

very niceeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I like
Essa ideia do pensamento q atrai me faz sempre pensar mto.
Bjos Amo vc. Deus te ilumine.
If what you see in me is you
and what I see through you is me,
then you, my darling, are me
and me, my dear, is you
and,the world, honey, is just one
and you hold the whole world, my dear,
in your hands
Love and Gratitude

I love your small poem Annie, I read it last night when I was reading this post and it just stuck in my mind.. I couldn’t stop thinking about this, you wrote it so beautifully. :)
love ur poem annie
According to me it is you, yourself
Who is both me n you
N we r the only one who create our
World.
Could it be this simple
You are already that infinite seeing
Nothing you need to do
You are divine eyeballs floating in divinity..
Enjoy Love:D
This story is saying that we create our world by our perceptions. Whatever we perceive will be the truth for us. If we are looking for sinister people and acts, then that’s what we’ll see. If, however, our lense of viewing the world could be more positive, then maybe we’d see the beauty and humor in people.
I think that when we catch ourselves being negative about others, that we can come to a moment of presence and remember that our perceptions aren’t necessarily true.
Thank you,, with great love and grattitude<3
And the mirror shows us always out true face!
Each of us contain in himself both brothers simultaneously, Cain and Abel! Though some like to believe that they are only Cain! In this case the mirror gets an additional importance in showing us the Abel that lures deep inside us shedding light on him and make it easier to handle him…
…sorry for my (not) english…. è la perfetta storia del dott.Jackyll e Mr. Hyde,
For Who is this whole
Magnificent world dancing
Who..if not for you.. (sees all this)
You are not a state
You are the Presence in which
All these states arise..
One’s not an object
Any appearance will pass
Without objection..

I am much more Abel than what I Cain! :

We tend to stare in front of a miror, it is part of our nature to crave for a response back. We are taking it as normal, we do it every day. But it is mainly the shell we were provided with to pass throg life we are looking at. We see onlly what we want, with full admiration of the reflection of our selfs or with a lot of shallow criticism. But this is only the shape of the human we are and what we look at is just a shread of the world we share with so many others like us. And this is sad and makes us poor inside and unhappy. We take the image sent back to us as granted, is it? In fact is the mirrored one.
So if it is like this, why don’t we train to look behind the scenery provided by this reflecting surface? Because we simply cannot. We use the mirror only to make sure that we offer to the world a better shell of what we think we are.
It is not for nothing that the mirror is an motive of vanity in all cultures…
I like all these sories related to mirrors, most of all I like the mirros from the fairy tails, those mirrors wich are in fact other worlds, doors to a place we want but we are scared to be in. If one has the time to analyse all the mirror related rituals in different cultures, he could be estonished about the deep meanings.
The painters are using the mirrors to have a better eye on their work. They turn their back to the painting, and they look at their work through a mirror, just like a woman looks at her hair. Another narcissistic process? Nope. And all say that only like this can be more critical with themselfs, because of the distance this reflection gives they even see things they never intented to place on the canevas.
I would like as critical as them. It is a hard process, to see what it is behind.
We were all, at one point in life both Abel and Cain. When we are down, we are more likely Cain and, when things go our way, we are Abel. Let’s just keep thinking like Abel and hope for the world to do so. For a peaceful and happier world. Amen.
