I agree with you in your full expression and experience. The first time I read one of his books (The Alchemist) was like shaking my life and letting me know that I don’t need to go so far to find the great and wonderfulness of life; it’s right by your side waiting for you to notice it. From that occasion every time he publish a new book, you can see me at the bookstore to get it. Hope that one day I can meet him and tell how he have changed my life. I´m so please you to be part of my life. I get a postal signed by you and that was a big gift. But the meaning is not that you had to sign that, with so many others, the huge meaning for me was that there’s someone who can say some right words in the right time; but most important, no matter what people say, is not afraid to loose or win credits to hiself. When i started to read your books i was only 15 years, now i’m 21 and i have realized that i’m where i want to be, with those who i most be in my life. Thank your Mr. Coelho for your awesome words. The day I started to read ‘The Alchemist’, the transformation was about to took place in my life. I’m really inspired by ur each n every book. It gives every reader a positive n hopeful view towards the life n especially the moment ‘now’ n to follow the heart. N these magical quotes are filled with spontaneous spiritual energy. God sent u on the earth as mediator for many people included me to change our views. It’s been my pleasure to find out u wherever I go. Our conversation has no end though it hasn’t voice. i don’t know if you never going to read this message but i felt to write you.
My parents used to read your books and when i was 11 i tryed to read one of your books but i never finished it.
But now is more then 5 years that i read them and the strange thing is that i end up to read them in the right moment.
i read so much but when there is a moment that i’m struggle in somenthing, is like your book fall from the sky.
that’s for me one of the signal that you talk about.
sometimes i felt so crasy because i live all my life of signals but nobody around me knows what i’m talking about, and to read that i’m not the only one is so conforting
i’m a dancer and i need to fight evry day to make my dream true. i love competion especially when i can learn something from them, but right now the thing that scared me a lot is to fight for nothing. i allways belived in what i was doing but right now i need somebody that tell me with the true if i’m good enough, or what i have to improve. i’m a strong person and i know that i should be able to judge my self but after so many years i think right now i feel that i need somebody.
well… maybe this letter is a bit random but i just hope i can get your suggestion somehow.

Since the first time I took hold of your book (The Alchemist was the very first from amongst your books which I owned), I never really stopped appreciating you and your marvelous works. You are a great inspiration to many. When I entered medical school, my time for leisure reading was robbed. And there were countless times that I’d feel so tired and wasted that I feel everything around me is routine. But when I open and read your books, I am recharged again. I get rejuvenated and the things I read always push me to just go on, and goes with it the assurance that all will be well in the end.
I hope that you will continue writing in pursuit of keeping the embers of inspiration burning in the hearts of many. You will always be in my prayers.

I have never red a book of yours before I red ‘Aleph’. I ‘felt atracted to it’ while I was in an airport –I have actually never bought a book in the airport before neither…
I was looking for a book which could ‘bring me further’, feeling kind of stuck in life –eventhough I am not, but nerver mind:
I was asking for some guidience as I picked up your book. I am working with shamans, so I loved the first words ‘Oh no. Another ritual’. But straight away when I saw your face on the inside of the cover I felt strongly that I knew you. (I think you might get these letters all the time, but still,…) -I bought the book. Also I know little about you and maybe it is just my fantasy, but all along reading your book I kept looking at your familiar face again, I felt conected with you, another thing that might happen a lot. Still this sounds crazy, but this is MY life so I have to risc beeing silly or just mistaken…
Through how close I felt while reading the book I somehow decided while reading it to send you my project: I am working since four years on 42 tarot cards (please look at the attachment) which I call ‘The Cards Of The Sacred Union’…
And I would be happy if you look at them (another thing what shurely happen all the time…). I just felt all through the book that I have to contact you. In the last few pages I started crying so much and when you wrote that you will maybe never find the other three missing women, somthing inside me said ‘of course, that’s why, I wanted to contact you’…
I don’t know now, that my brain starts doubting, and maybe it doesn’t matter, as you said: maybe it is now no longer important to find out about the past.
But still, I also always try to follow my heart, eventhough my brain says I am crazy.
In a regression I did find out years ago that I have died once beeing burnd as a witch, another thing that has probably happend to may people before me…
Anyway, here you go: I send you my cards and a photo of me (with my daughter Anui)… (just noticed that I cannot send you photo or attachment here, so maybe next time) Maybe you have the time to look and feel if there could be a connection.
I am sorry about my bad English, I am German even though I have an English name… I live in Spain, Andalucia.

Dear Paulo could you give me an advise? I feel that I’m afraid to go my Way…My heart and soul say me what I should do in my life, but my brain tells me stop, not to do this, because it is so dangerous, there is no sense maybe and no use to other people and if I will go this way I can even maybe day. For some time I stopped going my way and I understood that I even could live without my dream….but I feel that I’ ve loose smth very important. So that’s the time in my life when I need an advise so much. I so hope that you help me

luego de tener una crisis existencial descubriendo a Maria en 11 minutos y haber abandonado el libro por temor a su final y vuelto a retomarlo para acabar de leerlo me pregunto¿cuanta conexion que tengo con este hombre ? me atrapo con Brida con El Alquimista me enseño ,con El Peregrino me guió hasta el sitio donde vivo (actualmente en Galicia), con Veronica decide morir ,me hizo darme cuenta de que no estaba feliz con la vida que llevaba ¿QUE ME ESPERA CUANDO COMIENZE A LEER EL ALEPH? Ich finde Ihre Bücher fantastisch, wie Vitamine und Mineralstoffe, um die Herausforderungen des Lebens zu bemeistern. Sie schreiben mir aus der Seele! Der Alchimist hat mir seinerzeit Kraft gegeben “durchzuhalten” . Als elf Minuten rauskam, hatte ich ein ähnliches- aber sehr sèces Manuskript in der Schublade- man hätte mich ausgelacht in der Annahme, ich hätte ihr Buch kopiert.. es liegt noch immer in der Schublade.. – Schutzengel ist ebenso Seelennahrung. Heute habe ich Aleph in einem Zug gelesen/aufgesogen. Sie haben mir eine alte Blockade zu erkennen geholfen. DANKE!
