Dear Mr. Paulo Coelho, I love reading your books. I have read them over and over and over. Right now the fifth mountain has helped me with my dilema in dealing with my gift, and of communicating with God.The book opened my eyes, mind and heart to a lot of things with every passage that I get from your writing. I hope that someday I can also write something that can be an eye opener, inspiration for change and also a better understanding of the langguage of God which is love.

quisera q estas letras sean leidas por si, mi admiración por su persona es de hace muchos años… mi grado de escolaridad casi analfabeta.
Voy a contarle q vi un libro en una tienda donde vendian cristales, campanas tibetanas, enciensos y otras cosas; esto en 1993 si no mal recuerdo,”EL ALQUIMISTA” se llamaba ese libro; mas no tenia dinero para comprarlo…
pasado otro tiempo en el mismo lugar vi otro libro “A orilla del rio piedra” mas seguia sin dinero para comprarlo.
En el año 2002 por razones economica sali de venezuela y comence una vida nueva en Portugal; en una feria de libros en 2003 pude comprar aquel libro “El alquimista”, como tambien “a orrilla del rio piedra” … adore la sencillez como escribe, como pude sentir el mensaje espiritual en vuelto en la narrativa, la delicadeza de las frases envueltas casi en un velo de misterio.
desde entonces es mi escritor preferido.
Senti magia en las otras narrativas. ya lei: 10 minutos, brida, zahir, veronica decide morir y otros mas… no he leido todos sus libros, mas espero llegar hacerlo.
dejo para ud. todo lo mejor de mi espiritu, de mi espiritualidad y un abrazo, con un par de besos muy calorosos.

coz thats pratcically impossible to measure the intensity of someone’s fanhood,
neways what i wanted to ask is iam reading “the Valkyries” right now ,
and the character of Valhalla has really impressed me,I just wanted to know as said in the book does Valkyries exist in reality??
I was really amazed and very happy in my mind to be imagining to meet someone like Valhalla..

Mi comentario referido a Paulo y sus libros me parecen estar escrito de su infinito cofre interior—toda mujer se enamora de el y sus maravillosos escritos ya que su interior desfila la luz expuestas a sus narraciones -me encantan! los dos tu interior y tu exterior………

He leído todos y cada uno de tus libros, son excepcionales y con todos me identifico y no solo yo, porque al asomarme a las ventanas del mundo, encuentro que ya hay muchos otros viendo el atardecer antes que yo.

Thank you for sharing your stories. I have been through a lot – had a rough childhood, and I have always felt that God give me those experiences for a reason. I know that I am suppose to help others with “my story” but I’m not sure how. A few years ago I made a decision to go on a search to discovery my purpose, and to learn how I can use what I have been through to help others. I enrolled in college and I have been reading self-help, religious, and spirituality books. But I had never read a book like yours until a month ago. I was at the bookstore looking for something new to read, or for some sort of inspiration and I found “The Alchemist”. I’d never heard of you before, but after reading the brief description of the book and of you on the back cover, I knew I found exactly what I needed. I have purchased and read seven other books. Once again thank you for sharing your wisdom. Please sir – keep writing. The thing I love most about your stories is that I find myself in the characters in each book I read. I have had the same thoughts, felt the same way, and wondered too if it was just me. I am or I have been; Maria, Santiago, Brida, Pilar, Elijah, and yes even Paulo.

Hey Rose, Paulo has definitely written some golden words on paper which inspires numerous lives from every walk of life. His wisdom spread across his works is a real treasure to be inherited. Even I have some similar experience as you have. I came across “The Alchemist” accidently while going thru books on a store and picked this one. You wont believe i didnt read it for 6 months but the day I started it, it was completed in 2-3 days. His books has such a magic that bounds everyone to it. Would love to share more of my experiences and his works

Acabo de terminar de leer El Alquimista, yo pienso que esta libro uno lo lee cuando nos toca, cuando tomamos la decision de ser mejores. Hace anos lei este libro y no tubo ningun impacto en mi vida. Desde que tome la decision de descubrir todo lo que hasta ahora me estaba perdiendo siento muchos sentimientos encontrados, y con este libro llore. Es el mejor libro que he leido, y seguire leyendo tus libros.

I have started reading The Alchemist which I could relate to in so many ways. I have even made notes in my Journal of all the wise “sayings” and could not put this book down. I have then read the book “By The River Piedra I Sat Down And Wept” – this was an absule stunning book and felt I have learn things that I can implement in my own life and also found peace regarding certain things in my life. Veronica wants to die was, in the beginning, something totally different from his previous books I have read but see certain madness in a total different way. Now I drink my take-away cuppacino with a straw (because I do not like the feeling of the cup it came in!). My collegue had ask me if she really saw a straw in my coffee!! – I could answer yes, because I can and maybe I am mad…. I am nearly finish with Brida and also find it difficult to put the book down. Mr Coelho I think you must me a remarkable man to write such books…. (I am from South Africa)

Je me suis assis et j’ai pleuré, Le Zahir, et un autre qui n’est pas mentionné “l’histoire d’une fille qui décida de se suicider et finit par réapprendre le gout de la vie !” j’aibeau lui parler de yves paccalet ou de pierre rabhi, non elle a mieux fait de se documenter sur votre biographie et ce que vous avez mis en oeuvre pour les orphelins du brézil où elle souhaiterai un jour d’y offrir son temps et de sa vie :

The Alchemist is the first book I’ve read of Paulo Coelho. Its enchanting and I couldn’t put it down. He makes me feel like I’m living the story. My next book I’m reading is Veronika decides to die. What a gifted writer!
