Oi Paulo, sempre li seus livros, e como não poderia ser diferente dos demais me encantei, meus professores da universidade recomendavam livros para ler, mas sempre acabava lendo os seus, porque me idetificava. Fui presenteada com o livro Alquimista, li em uma tarde, na ocasião caiu como uma luva para quem estava apaixonada, apartir daí passei a ler seus demais livros.
Gostaria de conhece-lo, como sei que isso não é possível…

You have a special power you are using in a special way: You write a phrase and it can change the whole day, the whole way of thinking and often the whole life flow. I read it and it is the exact time I needed the words to hear from someone, they are always right and timely.

had my collection of your books: to name a few – the alchemist, by the river piedra i sat down and wept, valkyries, veronika decides to die, the zahir, the devil and ms prymm, Pilgrimage, the fifth mountain, Brida and the winner stands alone: each book taught me something that develops my well being. especially THE ALCHEMIST…. each character depicts the people around me that when i am in that situation i know what to do!

I’m a highschool student from Canada. I read the Alchemist just a few months ago. I heard about this book from a commercial. Ever since i’ve been looking for a place to find that book, and when i finally read it, i was amazed. This book is exactly what anyone needs to hear when they lack self confidence and confidence in their dreams. More over, this book has definately changed me as a person. Hence I thank you for writing such a wonderful book. Just simple words that have changed someone’s life!
He leído todos y cada uno de los libros que ha escrito. de hecho a mi me surgió el amor a la lectura gracias a su libro el Alquimista, que ha sido un parteaguas en mi vida, desde entonces he leído y releído sus libros. Nunca pensé que muchos de sus libros hayan sido experiencias tan personales, ya que leí El mago de Fernando Morais y me doy cuenta de donde viene tanta inspiración. Me gustaría conocerlo de manera personal. Mi respeto y admiración para usted. Sigamos cambiando el mundo en el buen combate.
He leido gran parte de sus obras y podria decir que mi favorita es .. once minutos…leo a diario y puedo afirmar que muy pocos autores logran llegar al corazon de la gente como usted lo hace.. y sentirnos identificados en cada una de sus historias y atrapados de principio a fin no caulquier escritor puede lograr eso.. en simples palabras..grandes palabras.

Sou grande admirador e leitor das maravilhosas obras literárias de PAULO COELHO, e o que mais me fascina em seus livros, é a forma pela qual ele transmite suas energias positivas aos leitores.Estou acabando de ler sua biografia, escrita por Fernando Moraes, na obra ” O MAGO”.Na verdade, para quem tem acompanhado a trajetória deste persistente carioca, que inicialmente enfrentou todo tipo de dificuldade e discriminação por parte da crítica brasileira, precisa também ler esta sua biografia.

Seus livros são maravilhosos. Toda vez que leio uma de suas obras abre-se um mundo novo, totalmente diferente. Me faz conhecer culturas, tradições e ver as pessoas com outros olhos. Não me canso de ler seus livros, inclusive já li alguns mais de uma vez, como o Alquimista, Brida, As Valkírias. E tem uma passagem de um de seus livros, acho que é de O Alquimista, onde você escreve, que tudo que acontece uma vez pode não acontecer uma segunda, mas tudo que acontece uma segunda vez pode acontecer uma terceira, uma quarta… E assim é. Espero que continues tendo essas inspirações maravilhosas e que possa transformá-las em livros como esses que tens escrito. Muito, muito, obrigada.
Nunca habia terminado de leer un libro siempre lo dejaba a medias o las primeras paginas, no me importaba mucha la lectura… Pero desde que comence a leer el alquimista no deje de leer, senti gran curiosidad por el relato, de alguna manera cada vez que que pasaba una pagina, me llevaba a la otra, hasta la culminacion del mismo, es un gran relato con muchas esperanzas y fe. Al dia siguiente fui a la libreria y adquiri veronica decide morir, hasta hoy tengo 6 libros de los cuales so buenos todos.. Un gran escritor conlleva a un gran lector…
Gostaria de dizer que adorei os livros que li do Paulo Coelho, alguns em espanhol( O Diabo e a senhora Prym, Verónica decide morrer) e outros em português(11 minutos). tentei ler o Alquimista mas não sei porquê, não consegui acabar. Agora estou a tentar ler O Zahir mas saltei para umas 100 páginas à frente, não consegui ler direitinho, mas alguém disse que há coisas que tardam em chegar a ti porque não estas preparado…..
Então vou esperar……

Soy adriana, tengo 15 años y aún no he leído todos los libros de Paulo Coelho pero los pocos que he leído me han gustado mucho pero me han dejado muy dudosa… Es verdad todo lo que sucede en esos libros? Lo que mas desearía es que el propio Paulo me contestara si las historias de Brida y Pilar (A orillas del rio Piedra me senté y lloré) sucedieron en verdad. ¿Es verdad que podemos tener un don, una Otra Mitad, que podemos ver ese punto en el hombro izquierdo o ese brillo en los ojos?

I have been reading you since Alchemist and i must say that little book changed my life and made me think a lot.
Tengo en mi haber ya muchos libros tuyos,comence con el peregrino,el alquimista,el demonio yla senorita prim,once minutos,La quinta Montana,La bruja de portobello,mi favorito EL GUERRERO de LA LUZ,Veronica decide morir,El Zahir,Ser como el rio que fluye,Junto al rio Piedra me sente y llore. Y aun tengo mucha sedde tus escritos, pues cada dia me siento con mas Fe en un ser superior Dios o Diosa no importa, lo grandioso es que te utilizan para llenar nuestras vidas de ilusiones y esperanzas para continuar con nuestra leyenda personal, envolvernos en esa bella locura que es la vida,tambien aprovecho tu narrativa para viajar por los desiertos, como tambien por tus preciosos Pirineos. Gracias Paulo, tambien escudrino diario mi correo para encontarme ansiosa con tus mensajes aunque ya los haya leido antes en cualquiera de los libros, siento que siempre son nuevos. Me gusta mucho la forma de escribir de paulo Coelho, me siento identificada con cada uno de sus libros y aprendo mucho de ellos. Cada vez que tomo un libro de èl siento que cambiarà algùn aspecto de mi vida, vivo intensamente cada frase que aprendo y ahora tengo màs ilusion de la vida. Bueno trato de leer un libro por semana de este autor, solo llevo 5 libros ( El alquimista, Veronika decide morir..muy bueno, A orilas del Rìo Piedra me sentè y llorè,la bruja de Portobello y Como el Rio que fluye. Espero seguir sumergiendome en estas historias y conocer las enseñanzas que este gran autor nos entrega atravès de sus escritos.
No se si fue casualidad o no, pero el alquimista fue uno de los primeros libros de Paulo Coelho, que llego a mis manos, cuando empece a leerlo, lo encontre por su lenguaje y forma narrativa, demasiado entretenido, depsues xla trama empezo a envolverme, tanto asi que fue el primer libro que termine de leeerlo. Quizas en un principio me sentia identificada como el personaje principal d la historia (el joven va en busca de una quimera), recorriendo lugares que para mi en un principio creian era ficticios (era por ignoracia), bueno depsues de todo puedo contar que por cosas de la vida, pude recorrer aquellos lugares, no se como llegue hasta ellos….quizas algo anunciaba, mi futuro a traves de ese libro.
Once minutos…..No acabe como Maria (personaje principal), pero hubo momentos que me sentia como ella.

Veronica decide morir ( pude darle sentido a mi locura y gracias a ellos, creo que me siento cuerda).

The Alchemist is a combination of real, material life and spertual one; a combination of decisions and fate, a combination the known and the unknown; a combination of Christianity and Islam.
This book is a philosophy of life a catalogue of life that can apply to everyone’s life.
Paulo Coelho really excelled in combining these elements to come up with a wonderful universal book.

In Ode I read about your residence in the neighbourhood of Lourdes. As we also have bought an old (humble) farm, (not far from Lourdes too) I want to let you know that you and your wife are always welcome to pay us a visit whenever you wish! At the moment we use our holidays to rebuild it. No great money but fun! In the future I like to open an alternative ‘meeting and meditation’ centre from where we (among other activities) we can also make a walking tour to Santiago…

Hello Sir, I have read your novel “The Alchemist”, I beleive that this novel is not only abouth the boy who keeps on finding the treasure but also gives the lot of message to the world, the one message liked by me is that he never breaks the faith even the facing lots of difficulties & finds the treasure at last.

The alchemist tells about every person’s life, regardless of social status. The more you read it, the deeper is the message you find in it.
What I have been asking myself since some years now is: “Why does Paulo Cohelo write Books (which apparently are good written stories) for us? How did he find out he had such a important task in this life? And, most of all, what for?”
Dear Sir. Paolo, you are really an inspiration for me and for too many people too. The first time i read your book the “Alchemist” i was obliged too by the teached at that time i was a young girl i hated it :D i couldn’t understand it and most of the time i had to re-read the chapter again and again cuse i used to loose my attention. Years after i read it again and i was hooked up with your words and meanings, it is a book for life and a philosophy for living. Since then i read most of your books and now i’m reading ‘by the river piedra i sat down and wept’. I mostly like the book of ‘The fifth mountain’ i feel that it speaks to me, as i am lebanese and still passing through all those wars and again surviving like the Phoenix. I would like to know if you have visited Lebanon, cause you always write about it and special our dearest writer “Jibran Khalil Jibran”.

i have read many of your books. and a die hard fan of ‘the alchemist’. i am fascinated by the desrt and u hv dipicted the beauty of desert very fantastically. currently i m reading the valkyries. but smtimes i feel that you give very togh definitions to the siple happening of life. every small incidence has some meaning, do you not feel like tarpped in the conspiracy by nature if you start to conclude each and every aspect of the nature?

I have just finished reading the book alchemist and i am assured that it is not just a book about a boy who goes for his treasure. It’s about all of us it’s about faith unspoken the faith you feel it’s about the underlying secret of the universe and there is only one secret that we are powerful beyond measure. i have learned much from such a thin book. This book will be remembered for times to come because it has a message between the lines. I will read more of your books thank u. I have read a lot of your works. Of it my favourite has to be Brida, The Alchemist, The Witch of Portobello and The fifth Mountain.I love the underlying philosophy and realism in the writings. They are all inspiring writings. As for the last book,The winner stands alone’ I felt that the book lacked the soul that was in all the previous books of yours. I might be, being a bit harsh critic, but I didn’t feel the enthusiasm to complete the book while I was reading. All other works of yours I felt the need to get back to reading and complete the book once I started reasing them.You are definitely my favourite author!

Goodevening, I read urs two books: the Alchemist and 11 Minutes. Both the books are like gem.Well about ‘Alchemist’ all I can say that this is the book about those people who are on a journey to do something different.I cant say anything about this book because when i read this I became speechless.Saying anything about this book will like showing torch to the sun.Sir, all i can say that this book is my favourite and it will be in my mind forever.The other book i have read is ’11 minute’.This is book is exceptionely good.Sir, i really feel that yours imagination,words,thoughts are the lights to the people who are in search of knowledge and I am your biggest fan.
As obras de PC são extremamente ótimas, conheci por acaso qndo comprei O Alquimista em uma maquina de livros no metrô, dai fikei fascinado por outros titulos, mais sem duvidas O Demônio e a Srta Prym eh um livro espetacular q passa, assim como outros, durante sete dias, com historia intrigante e envolventee! Leiam!

solo me falta por leer de Paulo Coelho, su ultimo libro, pero les puedo comentar que cada uno de sus libros es una etapa de mi vida por que en cada uno he dejado o ganado algo para mi crecimiento y sobre todo mi libertad. A orillas del Rio Piedras me sente y llore tarde 2 años en leerlo y valio la pena, por que en un inicio no estaba preparada y el destino se encargo de quitarmelo de las manos o guardale en una gabeta y esto lo comprendi cuando lei el Zahir, donde no recuerdo bien la cita, pero hace referencia a que hay cosas que tardan en llegar a ti por no estar preparado. Siendo esto muy cierto por que cuando lo ley este ultimo comprendi que debia dejarlo ir y ser libre como soy ahora y seguir buscando la felicidad.
